Grand & Milwaukee, Chicago | 18 in. x 12 in. | "Chicago Style" Framed Art Print
For the first outdoor watercolor of the season, I sat in the sun with an iced coffee to catch the afternoon sun at Grand & Milwaukee . The brick building at the center used to be Emmit's Irish pub where I used to hang every once and while, and behind it is Richard's Bar, the only bar I know of where u can get away with blasting a few cigs indoors with ur beer. Fun fact; my parents went to Emmit's on their first date.
Now home to Pearl Club, a hip & cozy cocktail bar, the intersection of Grand & Milwaukee in Chicago is worth the trip.

The original painting was created on location at approximately 8in. x 6in. on cotton paper in my sketchbook. For this print, the artwork area size is approximately 15 x 9, while the total print including the border is 18 x 12. The original was scanned at 600 ppi and enlarged, but still prints at 300 dpi for the final print for a high quality reproduction.
